Specialty Food Association

Noomi joins over 17,000 Women’s Business Enterprises certified through WBENC, the nation’s largest third-party certifier of businesses owned and operated by women

Hartsdale, NY—March 18, 2021—Noomi® [new-me], an organic peanut butter company and lifestyle brand, is proud to announce national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) by the Women’s Business Enterprise Council Metro NY, a regional certifying partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).

“I’ve always dreamed of Noomi being formally recognized as a woman-owned business—so being certified by WBENC is an amazing honor,” said Krystina Murawski, Owner and Founder of Noomi. “Through the story of Noomi, I want to help represent, empower and inspire other women across the world and every industry. Now we’re part of an incredible network of women where we can do just that.”

The WBENC standard of certification implemented by the Women’s Business Enterprise Council Metro NY is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by a woman or women.

By including women-owned businesses among their suppliers, corporations and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier diversity programs.
