Pinsa Love Exhibiting at the Specialty Food Association Summer Fancy Food Show 2023

WASHINGTON, D.C. (JUNE 13, 2023) – Pinsa Love, maker of artisanal frozen Roman-style pizzas, will be exhibiting at the 2023 Summer Fancy Food Show, North America's largest B2B-only specialty food industry event. The Washington, D.C.-based brand will be sampling its handcrafted frozen Pinsa and introducing its new plant-based Rustica Vegan Pinsa at Booth #6351.

The first and only frozen Pinsa company in the United States, Pinsa Love brings the traditional Roman pizza, which features a long-fermented dough that’s simultaneously thick and light & airy, to grocery stores across the East Coast. Founded by Jordan Fainberg at the beginning of the pandemic, his idea was simple: to create an elevated at-home pizza option that didn’t sacrifice quality and brought the pizzeria home. Because Roman Pinsa is traditionally baked twice, it’s the ideal pizza style to freeze and package for at-home consumption. Pinsa Love’s custom blend of non-GMO and soy-free dough is fermented for 72 hours before it is partially baked. At that stage, the Pinsa is layered with sauce & toppings, frozen, and packaged for at-home consumption, allowing the traditional second bake to happen in a home oven, yielding a true pizzeria-style experience at home.

“On a trip to Tuscany, I discovered and fell in love with Pinsa and spent several weeks learning how to make it,” Fainberg said. “After a year of perfecting the recipe and techniques, we launched the company, which now includes distribution at nearly a hundred grocery stores. I can’t wait to share our cloud-like pizzas with everyone at the event and introduce our vegan Pinsa, made with all veggies and no fake cheese.”

The Summer Fancy Food Show will feature a sampling of specialty foods and beverages from around the world, education programming, hot trends from the SFA Trendspotter Panel 2023 Predictions, spotlight showcases, category-focused pavilions, NEW NOW NEXT Pavilion featuring incubators and startups; presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Awards and induction of the current Class of the Specialty Food Hall of Fame; international and state pavilions, and 2023 sofi™ Awards winners.

"The Summer Fancy Food Show is the premier show to find new and innovative products, network with industry professionals, and learn about the latest trends in the $175 billion specialty food industry,” said Bill Lynch, president, Specialty Food Association. “I’m excited to have Pinsa Love exhibiting and look forward to seeing them at the Show.”

Presented by the not-for-profit Specialty Food Association, the Summer Fancy Food Show is a trade-only event. To register, please visit specialtyfood.com
