Portland Pet Food Company Expands Senior Management Team

Pet food manufacturer brings on two senior staff members to sustain rapid growth

PORTLAND, Ore. (May 4, 2021) – Portland Pet Food Company (PPFC) today announces the addition of two new members of its senior management team, Nadine Johnson and John Cariglio. Following a year of rapid growth and international expansion, they will both work to grow PPFC’s fiscal management and national sales efforts critical to continued strategic growth in 2021.

Johnson joins the team as Director of Finance and will oversee financial operations while expanding the company’s reporting systems. Prior to joining PPFC, she spent 25 years providing financial and accounting expertise to leadership teams across a variety of industries. She also has experience founding and managing a manufacturing company in the food & beverage industry for seven years. Johnson is a graduate of Oregon State University and attained her MBA from the University of Washington.

“I am thrilled to welcome Nadine to the Portland Pet Food team,” said Katie McCarron, founder of PPFC. “Nadine is extremely accomplished in her field, including experience working with food and beverage. She will be a major asset to us as we continue to grow and expand.”

Cariglio joins PPFC as National Sales Manager and will be implementing strategic and continued growth with a multi-channel focus, including pet specialty and national grocery. He brings 29 years of experience working with pet food manufacturers, including The Nutro Company (acquired by Mars Petcare), Weruva and most recently, Northwest Naturals. Cariglio studied communications management at The State University of New York.
