Portland Salt Co. Announces New Product Forms New Brokerage Partnership with Good Now Foods East Coast Food Service Expansion

Portland, OR (January 5, 2023)Portland Salt Co, an artisanal salt company based in Oregon, has announced a long-term partnership with Good Now Foods, a leading boutique food brokerage house with deep relationships spanning the Pacific Northwest and Southwest. The partnership comes on the heels of Portland Salt Co’s first white label collaboration with Tompkins Square Bagels, one of New York City’s most iconic and fastest growing bagel chains known for hand-rolled bagels boiled and baked in small batches as well as their innovative assortment of cream cheese flavors.

Launched in December of 2021, Portland Salt Co has rapidly developed a loyal customer base having grown from a home kitchen operation born out of the pandemic to an e-commerce and regionally distributed brand. The Good Now Foods partnership exponentially grows Portland Salt Co.’s retail presence throughout Washington, Oregon, California, Hawaii, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Alaska, New Mexico, and Texas.

Portland Salt Co utilizes the pure sea salt drawn from the cool coastal waters of the Pacific Northwest as the foundation for its premium line of seasonings. The salt, with a highly flavorful, high mineral profile and a refined, less-granular shape, is blended with globally sourced spices and herbs to create unique savory and sweet blends. Each of the four flavors – Steak Salt, Pork Rub, Za’atar, Toast Sugar - feature pure, additive-free premium ingredients that highlight the inherently rich flavors of meats, seafood, and vegetables, transforming good food into great food – all with minimal effort.

The brainchild of entrepreneur duo Becca and Justin Christiansen, Portland Salt Co. began as a side passion from their careers in the tech industry. It has now become their mission to bring heightened culinary experiences to consumers across the United States by using just a pinch of their various blends, each of which recreate the flavors experienced during their global gastronomical travels.
