Founders Allison Escovedo Owen and Matt Owen’s personal and familial health challenges drive the brand’s obsession with empowering everyone (from diabetics to sugar avoiders) to enjoy decadent treats. The brand is featured this year in the (included) Pavilion, which amplifies BIPOC voices and brands in the speciality food industry. “1 in 3 Americans are diabetic or pre-diabetic and diabetes disproportionally affects people of color. As a Mexican-American, I am inspired to create treats that everyone can enjoy. All of our mixes are low sugar, low carb, keto and diabetic friendly,” said Allison Escovedo Owen. “Our new line extension extends our offerings to now include the breakfast occasion and seasonal flavors.”
