Target Accepts SNAP EBT Payment

Target customers in select states can now pay for SNAP-eligible grocery items on the company’s website with the EBT payment method. A similar option for digital orders on the Target app are also on the horizon. The company already offers SNAP EBT capabilities in-store.

The company is piloting digital SNAP EBT in Florida, Illinois, Minnesota, North Carolina, Ohio, and Texas. These states have rolled out SNAP online, a USDA program enabling the electronic purchase of goods using the service.

Order Pickup and Drive Up services are available for those paying with SNAP EBT.
