“We are honored that our super seed grain free blend has won a New Product Award,” says Samantha Sherman, owner of The Hampton Grocer. “As a small business in the big granola market, we are always looking for ways to know that our product is loved. We feel the love when we meet our customers at local farmers markets and through interactions on social media, but this is one of the ultimate stamps of approval and we’re very grateful.” The Hampton Grocers Super Seed Grain Free Blend is found in stores and online.

The sofi Awards are open to members of the SFA and have been given each year since 1972. About The Hampton Grocer

The Hampton Grocer was founded amidst the chaos of 2020, during a career and life shift from the hospitality industry by Samantha Sherman. She began her business in Montauk, NY, as a local, farm-to-front-door grocery delivery and gifting service while enrolled in the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. She was selling items from other local vendors but felt a signature item of her own was missing.

Samantha turned to her mother-in-law’s granola recipe to serve as inspiration. This granola was different, packed with over 50% nuts and seeds and subtly sweetened with local honey - it was an instant hit! She baked her granola initially just nine jars at a time out of her home kitchen, later moved to a local Mexican restaurant, and now bakes out of the Stony Brook Incubator Kitchen in Calverton.

The Hampton Grocer has five small batch granola flavors, and makes monthly limited batch options as well. Samantha plans to continue to spread The Hampton Grocers retail presence, partner with other like-minded food brands, and continue to expand their product line that will always remain true to its all-natural values.
