After 29 years in the industry, Seattle Gourmet Foods is under the new ownership of Promise Holdings.
Seattle Gourmet Foods is a family-owned business that specializes in manufacturing gourmet food and confections. It has five brands under its name, as well as a private label.
The holding firm adds the food manufacturer to its list of specialty food brands, like Big Hunk, Abba-Zaba, and the recently acquired Annabelle Candy. Focused on profitable growth, according to a statement by Seattle Gourmet Foods, Promise Holdings brings a wealth of expertise, as well as a strong distribution network, and digital and brick-and-mortar sales and marketing experience to the agreement.
The new ownership group is in the process of being certified as a minority-owned enterprise, expected to be granted within the next six months.
